Audience

This is suitable for all staff who may undertake adult safeguarding enquiries in accordance with the SPB’s Multi-Agency Adult Safeguarding Procedures.

Aim

To ensure that those working with adults at risk are able to undertake an appropriate safeguarding adult’s response.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course the participants should be able to:

  • Ensure responses to safeguarding situations are delivered in accordance with the principles of Making Safeguarding Personal.
  • Understand the types, purpose and models of enquiry.
  • Know the professional’s role in safeguarding enquiries.
  • Know the role of the Safeguarding Adults Team in safeguarding enquiries.
