Audience
This course is suitable for Designated Safeguarding Leads and those who have a safeguarding lead role in any organisation, eg designated safeguarding lead in a school, safeguarding lead GP, social worker, care manager, Independent Domestic Violence Advisors, named doctor or nurse, police public protection unit, any staff undertaking adult safeguarding enquiries/assessments etc. It is also suitable for those who have specific responsibility for managing allegations of abuse against members of staff or volunteers.
Aim
To enable professionals who are responsible for managing allegations of abuse against staff or volunteers to use the Managing Allegations Framework (Child Workforce)
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course the participants should be able to:
- Explain the steps to take when an allegation of abuse is made against a member of staff using the Managing Allegations Framework (Child Workforce)
