Audience

This advanced session is suitable for designated safeguarding leads, and those staff likely to carry out or contribute to safeguarding enquiries, or those delivering safeguarding training within your own organisation.

Session

The session is set out in 2 parts:

Part one Learning & Development – best practice examples, real case scenarios, bringing the principles of the Care Act to into focus. Exploring the myths and realities of MSP – and moving us forward as organisations embracing change.

Part two Multiagency Debate – identifying the barriers and enablers to Making Safeguarding Personal in Jersey. Using case examples and our collective experiences, finding local solutions and preparing unanswered questions and key messages for a planned follow up leadership session in July.

  • Although there are two parts to the session attendees are expected to attend the entire session.

This event will take place on Microsoft Teams and a calendar invite with the link to join will be sent to you prior to the event.  We are unable to BCC calendar invites on Teams so please ensure you use an email address that you are comfortable to be seen by delegates.
