Audience
This is suitable for anyone who works directly with children at risk to provide common core skills and knowledge. It would suit staff who need more than a basic level of understanding for safeguarding children.
Aim
To ensure that everyone working with children and families understands the role that they and other organisations should play in working together to safeguard children.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course the participants should be able to:
- Recognise that safeguarding requires working together effectively
- Identify different organisations involved in safeguarding in Jersey and their roles and responsibilities.
- Know how to share information appropriately.
