The SPB has a range of courses for the children and adult’s workforce in Jersey. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, these have been redesigned and replace face-to-face training.
Each training module has been mapped to the Multi-Agency Training Frameworks so you can find the right course to suit your needs. Each module has a workbook and supporting materials for you to complete independently at a time that suits you and your organisation. Your employer should give you time to complete this training. Every module is accompanied by a live online seminar on Teams where you can ‘meet’ other professionals, explore topics further and ask any questions.
Finding the right course
You should discuss your training needs with your manager, but we suggest the following modules depending on your role within your organisation. We are finalising additional modules so please check back on the site again soon.

Research in Practice (RIP) is a free resource that can support your learning. Many of the SPB’s training modules use RIP materials so you will need to register for a RIP account (if you don’t already have one) to access them. Instructions for setting up a RIP account.
RIP also has open access webinars, videos and publications that you can download for free.
