Safeguarding Training
We offer a wide range of multi-agency training covering all areas of safeguarding topics.
What Training Do I Need?
You should discuss your training needs with your manager, but we suggest different modules depending on your role.
In Person Training
Our training courses will increase your safeguarding knowledge and skills. All our training is multi-agency and most of it is in-person so that you can ask questions, meet people from different organisations and better understand the multi-agency response to safeguarding.
Online Training
There are small number of training courses that are available online through Virtual College. The Brook Traffic Light Tool, Jersey’s Children First and Awareness of Domestic Violence and Abuse training can be found here.

Research in Practice
Research in Practice (RIP) is a free resource with webinars, videos and publications. You can download all these resources via your RIP account.
You will need to have a RIP account for our in-person courses as well, as we use many of the resources in our training materials.
Pool Trainer Resources
Our Pool Trainer Resources are for those who have completed our Train the Trainers course and are qualified to deliver our foundation training in their own organisations. If you would like to find out more about becoming a pool trainer within your organisation, please contact the Training Team.
